Well, it was a real privilege to shoot Jane and Fraser's wedding at Battle Abbey. They have such a lovely family and it's a jaw droppingly incredible location. For those of you who know your English history, the Abbey was build on the spot where the Battle of Hastings took place in 1066. It's a ruin now, but Battle Abbey School, also on the site, boasts the most beautiful function and ceremony rooms. It was a scorching day, with waiting staff telling me that the temperature had gone over 30 celsius at one point which meant that I had to be very mindful of everyone not melting as we were doing the shots. Jane looked absolutely breathtaking throughout and I fell completely in love with all the lovely chatty little children. It was a really beautiful day, both emotionally and aesthetically.
